Privacy policy
What we collect, why, and what we do with it. The short version: as little as possible, only what we need, and we never sell or share it for advertising. This policy covers our website and every PatinaWorld product: Patina Compose, Patina Care and Patina Faro.
Who we are
INAOSSIEN Ltd is registered in England and Wales (company number 07126060), with its registered office at 167-169 Great Portland Street, London, England, W1W 5PF. PatinaWorld and its products are operated by INAOSSIEN Ltd. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can contact us at security@patinaworld.com.
What we collect on this website
When you fill in our contact or signup form, we collect: your name, business name, role, email address, phone number, website (if provided), your availability, and any notes you choose to include. This information is stored on our server and sent to us by email. This website sets no cookies and uses no tracking pixels or third-party analytics. To understand how our pages are used, we count visits ourselves: the page, its language, the website that sent you, the type of device, the country your connection comes from, and a code that changes every day and cannot identify you. We never store your IP address, and none of this is shared with anyone. The country is looked up on our own server using data from DB-IP (db-ip.com). Our typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google to fetch them.
What we hold for every client
Your account details (name, email address, the people in your team), your login credentials (password and PIN stored as secure hashes), a record of sign-ins and sign-in attempts with the IP address, browser and device used, kept to protect your account, your invoicing details (company name, address, VAT number) and the invoices and payments for your account, and the messages we send you about the service.
Patina Compose
Your business profile and brand voice, the images and text you give us, the moments you describe, the screenshots of comments you upload, and the captions and replies written for you, including your feedback on them and the posts you plan in the calendar. A screenshot of a comment may show the name and words of the person who wrote it; we use it only to suggest your reply.
Patina Care
When Patina Care is available, it will hold the guest reviews you ask it to answer and the replies suggested for you. Reviews can include a guest's name and their account of a stay; we use them only to suggest your reply and never contact guests.
Patina Faro
The details of your property (address, contact details, descriptions, links to your websites, social and listing pages), the photos you upload, your answers in the Truth Record, and the audits we prepare for you. To prepare an audit, Faro reads what is publicly available about your property online.
Who we share it with
Anthropic (the Claude API), which writes the captions, replies and audits: your images, text and the relevant parts of your profile are sent to it for processing, and Anthropic does not use API data to train its models. Our hosting provider, which stores our servers and sends our emails. No one else. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers, analytics companies, or any other third party.
Why we use it
To respond to your enquiry or demo request, to set up and run your account and the products you have chosen, to keep your account secure, to invoice you, and to send you messages about the service. We do not use your data for marketing unless you have asked us to.
How long we keep it
Form submissions: for as long as needed to respond and follow up, then deleted. Client data: for the duration of your subscription or audit and a reasonable period after, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Invoices are kept for as long as the law requires. You can request deletion at any time by emailing security@patinaworld.com.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). To exercise any of these rights, email security@patinaworld.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page with the new version and the date of the change.
